Job Title: Technical Writer III
Location: California – Remote
Duration: 12 Months Contract
Pay Range: $50-55/hr on W2 without benefits
Summary:
Team develops input technologies like hand tracking that enable developers to build immersive XR experience. We are looking for a technical writer who can write and maintain the documentation that helps Unity and Unreal developers use XR Input APIs and SDKs.
Job Responsibilities:
• Author and publish developer-facing technical documentation that enable Unity and Unreal developers to integrate technologies.
• Partner with product managers and engineers to understand new feature’s underlying technology, target audience, and documentation needs.
• Understand the perspective of Unity and Unreal XR developers in order to write and structure documentation that is clear, concise, accurate, and usable as possible.
Skills:
• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
• Technical proficency; experience with Unity and/or Unreal engines.
• Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
• Track record of delivering high-quality content in a fast-paced software development environment.
Education/Experience:
•Bachelor’s degree required.
